The Renting Process

Renting a property is less stressful if you understand the entire process.


Step 1: Register

The first step to finding your perfect property to rent is to register with Fresh or call your local office, where you can talk to us about your specific property requirements. Whatever one of our offices you register with has access to our entire portfolio of available properties across our entire company.

Step 2: Finding The Ideal Property

Now we have a good understanding of what your ideal home looks like, we can then keep you updated on new to market properties, before they even hit the internet, you can register for email alerts and priority phone calls from our lettings consultants to make sure you don’t miss out on your ideal home. Search For Properties To Rent


Step 3: Think About Renting a ‘Managed Property’

A growing number of tenants will only rent a fully managed property for complete peace of mind. Renting a managed property means you’ll remove the emotion from both sides as a dedicated Property Manager will work between the landlord and tenant and will also handle your day-to-day issues, an after-hours Emergency helpline is also on hand and the assurance that the property you rent is fully compliant with all safety regulations.

Step 4: Viewings

In order to secure a property, it’s advisable to arrange a viewing as early as possible.
We can accompany the viewing if you wish, and will be able to answer any questions you have immediately and advise where necessary.


Step 5: Making An Offer

Once you’ve identified a property you would like to rent, we’ll put your offer forward to the landlord (along with any special conditions)

Step 6: Offer Accepted

Once your offer is accepted by the landlord we’ll arrange to collect references, we’ll arrange signing of the tenancy agreement and collect your moving in payment (up front rent + deposit). This is all arranged by us regardless of whether your property is managed.


Step 7: Completion

You’ll be given a set of keys on completion day and if your property is managed by us we’ll provide you with all our contact information.

Congratulations, you can now move into your new home that you found through Fresh!
